In keeping with Comporta’s authentic architectural style, Casa Libélula is formed of four single-storey cabanas connected by wooden walkways and shaded terraces. Designed by Portuguese architects and built using natural materials — bamboo, thatch and wood — the home feels part of the landscape itself.

Each cabana opens to nature:

  • Main cabana with large living-room overlooking the rice fields, kitchen and two double bedrooms

  • Guest cabana 1 with two double bedrooms

  • Guest cabana 2 with three bedrooms (one double, two twins)

  • Pool cabana with shaded seating and outdoor kitchen

All seven bedrooms are en-suite, simple yet elegant, with linens, textures and tones that reflect Comporta’s laidback sophistication.

Wooden decks lead to secluded corners for reading, lounging or dozing in the shade, and outdoor beds invite long evenings under the stars.
